What's Wrong With Dayne?
I had all the hopes in the world for Jimmy Clausen but after two years I am feeling frustrated. Jimmy may have some raw tallent but leader role seems to be lacking, not to mention he seems to play scared. But the Irish have another QB who was a five star pic, Dayne Crist of Notre Dame High School, Sherman Oaks, CA. Check out his bio here http://und.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/crist_dayne00.html or google him. Maybe it's time to say good bye to Jimmy. Maybe I am just looking for a quick fix. Wait, how many years has the Irish been struggling?

So We Got Weis For Another Year
So Charlie Weis will be allowed to stay on for one more year. That’s just great. Will that be his last year? Indubitably! With what they did to Ty Willingham, I am amazed they gave Charlie another year. The only thing that could possibly justify Notre Dame’s decision to 86 Ty after only three years is his unbelievably bad season at Washington. Look, my opinion is that Charlie Weis is a great offensive subordinator (am perhaps a good sales man) but not a head coach. Perhaps Weis is not a good motivator? Perhaps he is not respected (as a coach, not talking about his character). But what the hell do I know? We I do know this, the last two years has been the worse two years in ND history. That alone should be enough to give Weis the boot. I have nothing personal against the man and I am sure he is doing a much better job than I ever could. I just want the Irish to start wining again.

Well, 2008 is delivering another miserable season of Notre Dame football. I am so beside myself. I am forty eight years old and remember when each year was a battle with SC and, more often than not, we got the better hand. Oh how I hate the Trojans! Oh how I long for the glory days of Notre Dame. Will they ever come back or will I die in my grief? Oh death where is thy sting?
